HTC has confirmed an Android 2.2 update is now complete for the HTC Wildfire, with UK networks rushing to deliver it to customers in time for Christmas.First out of the blocks was Vodafone, which offered the update to customers more or less as soon as it was announced by HTC. But it's not all sweetness and light. The update doesn't offer Live Wallpapers or Flash video due to 'hardware limitations'. That's slightly annoying, but something is better than nothing, with plenty of other features to appease you. See the full breakdown here.T-Mobile has also started rolling out the Froyo update, but like Vodafone, is offering elements of the upgrade rather than the full package. In other words, Live Wallpaper and Flash video are not included either, once again due to those hardware limitations. It is offering 'Flash Lite', which is ok, but not what you really want.If you're on either network, check for those updates now. Other networks hopefully will follow soon. But with HTC claiming the rollout starts this week and finishes around February next year, let's hope you're not one of the stragglers.
