Not just any old Windows Phone 7 upgrade, the forthcoming update is being described as 'massive' - and that's by a developer. It's the word used by ChevronWP7 developer Chris Walshie, according to Electronista. It's said to inlcude copy and paste functionality, multi-tasking support, and several Bing improvements such as turn-by-turn directions. You'll even be able to add custom ringtones if rumours prove true. If the 'massive' is true, that's also likely to be the tip of the iceberg.'MS took 3 months to do what Apple did in 3 years,' claimed Walshie on Twitter. 'Let's just say, they could have called it Windows Phone 8.'A bold claim and one that's got us a little hot under the collar. No date as as yet or any official confirmation from Microsoft, but those same rumours suggest early January could see the second incarnation of Windows Phone 7.
