Someone at US network Verizon accidentally went live with a page promoting the as-yet-unannounced HTC Merge. Needless to say, it was quickly removed, but not before several eagle eyes spotted it.According to Pocket Lint, the page offered up details and a walk-through video of the smartphone, showing an Android 2.2 handset with a 3.8-inch Sony Super-LCD display, a second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 5-megapixel camera with the option of 720p video shooting.Of course, you'll also have noticed that full QWERTY keyboard that slides out, but you might not have noticed HTC Sense operating over the Google OS. It all makes for a serious contender, especially if you like a 'hard' rather than virtual keyboard on your smartphone. So will it come to the UK? The honest answer is that we don't know, but we hope (and almost expect) to see at least a variation on it sometime soon. When we get some cast iron details of that, you'll be the first to know.
