The last major update of the eBay for BlackBerry app was back in July. But just a matter of months later and RIM has decided it's time for another upgrade. In truth, it's not a huge upgrade, but it does mean better looks and features, as well as compatibility for the BlackBerry OS 6 operating system. According to RIM, the new version will offer up graphical context menus, simple screen transitions, notification drop-down bar integration and unlimited search integration. Nice, but none are a game-changer. Would have been nice to see some of the selling features found on the iPhone for example. Maybe next time.Of course, all the existing core eBay features are still around, with the option to receive real-time notifications on bids, wins, losses and auctions, access to My eBay, the ability to view items, place bids, watch items, add auctions to your calendar, monitor your sales and use PayPal to pay for goods. You can also access your mailbox and send messages.Did we say it was free too? Of course it is, so on that basis, it is hard to criticise too much.
