One million sales in just over a month is good by anyone's standards so the champagne most be flowing at LG's HQ right about now. The LG Optimus One has just surpassed one million units sold in little over 30 days making it the manufacturer's fast ever selling mobile handset. Available throughout most of Europe, Asia-Pacific countries and the USA, the touch-screen device was one of the first handsets to be powered by Google's latest operating system Android 2.2, aka Froyo. The results are three times faster internet browsing, web-page loading and multi-tasking. The shell of the device is pretty swanky too and comes in black, wine, titan, blue, silver and purple, while the 3.2-inch wide HVGA touch-screen that simply sparkles.
Indeed so confident is LG of their new found hit, that they are predicting the LG Optimus One to become their first ever 10 million-seller smartphone.
