Creative is primarily known as an audio brand, speakers and MP3 players being its food and drink in the past. But like many others, the company has seen an opportunity in the emerging tablet market and produced the ZiiO range of Android tablets to kick things off.Audio hasn't been forgotten though, with the comapny promising sound up there with the best of them, courtesy of its X-Fi Crystalizer, which restores lost detail from CD ripping and X-Fi Expand, which throws in some depth. All well and good, but what about the actual tablet?Well, it runs Android 2.1 and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity, with a choice of 7-inch and 10-inch devices, both with a front facing camera, built-in microphone, an accelerometer, FM radio and a microSD card slot. Access to the Android app store naturally. It sounds ok, but when the price is filtered in, it starts to sound like a more tempting proposition, not least as it also packs a decent brand name. Prices for the UK when it lands in December are £199.99 for the 7-inch model with 8GB of storage, £219.99 (16GB 7-inch model); £249.99 (8GB 10-inch) and finally, £369.99 (16GB 10-inch). One for the Christmas list?
