Samsung joins Windows Phone 7 party with the Omnia 7
Orange, Three and T-Mobile to begin rolling out the phone from 21 October

It's going Windows Phone 7 crazy in the mobile phone world today with all manner of handsets being announced. Samsung is the latest manufacturer to unveil a device, in the guise of the Omnia 7. It certainly looks rather delightful with the four-inch SUPER AMOLED display showcasing the Microsoft's new panel UI. Packaged in rather slim body, there's plenty going on under the bonnet too, including a 1GHz application processor which should ensure a quick process, a five-megapixel camera complete with HD recording and 8GB of onboard memory.

However, what's really got us chomping at the bit is the fact that Windows Phone 7 enables you to play Xbox LIVE games on the handset, while Zune is also present and correct to meet all your music and video demands.

Three and Orange have both already announced their pricing of the Samsung Omina 7 with Three offering the device for free from £35 a month, while Orange is offering the phone for free from £40 a month.

UPDATE: T-Mobile has now announced that they will also be selling the device from 21st October 2010 from free on plans from £35 a month on a 24 month contract.
