We heard it was coming in September originally, but the date for the Nokia N8 has slipped once more. Not too long though, with the third week of October now quoted. It's been a long wait for Nokia's much-anticipated camera phone, we got hands-on with it as far back as May would you believe. If you've forgotten what it actually offers, let us refresh your memory. For a start, the Nokia N8 has a capacitive touchscreen and runs new Symbian^3 OS. It also throws in a mouth-watering 12-megapixel camera with xenon flash, autofocus, a Carl Zeiss lens and 720p HD video recording. As good as most standalone compact digital snappers out there to be honest. All of that is packed into an anodised aluminum case with a matt metallic sheen for strength without the weight. That launch date has come from mobiles.co.uk, which claims to have the 'first UK stock' in late October. Vodafone and O2 are the networks offering it via the company, with Vodafone offering it for free if you sign up for a £25 monthly deal.
