Alcatel continues its QWERTY approach

Proving again that smartphones don't have to come with a whopping price tag, let us introduce the Alcatel OT-802. Ok so 'smartphone' maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but the Alcatel OT-802 does come with a full QWERTY keyboard, much in the same vein as its predecessor the Alcatel OT-800. Situated just above the keyboard is an optical trackpad, making the whole device quite BlackBerry Curve-esque.

For all you social networkers out there, and let's be honest, that's most of you, the likes of Facebook and Twitter can be updated direct from the mobile, while you'll also be able to send and receive emails. To complete the feature set, the Alcatel OT-802 houses a two-megapixel camera, web browser, FM radio and music player, while you can expect a talktime of up to 540 minutes.

The Alcatel OT-802 is available in Chrome & White from Phones 4u stores and online at www.phones4u.co.uk for £44.95 on Pay As You Go.
