You know Doro right? No? Well that's about to change my friends. The Swedish manufacturer who has catered for the older generation by producing simple, easy to use handsets is gearing up for its first TV advertising campaign. The ten second and 20 second adverts will begin airing on ITV1, ITV3 and Channel Five from 16 July with the strap-line 'Brilliantly Simple'. Despite previously targeting the senior market Doro is also targeting those that want a handset with a focus on ease of use rather than endless features.
The TV adverts will drive consumers to Doro's own website, www.doro.co.uk/easy as well as shout about their growing relationship with Orange, with Doro's range of handsets available through the operator's retail stores and online.
Such a strong advertising campaign would suggest that we can expect a fair bit of activity from Doro in the coming months. Talking of which, we may just have a little exclusive for you early next week. Keep your eyes peeled.
