One of the key features of the new iPhone 4 is its FaceTime functionality. Users can enjoy a seamless video calling experience like no other. While the quality of video calling is hugely impressive, the drawback was that users could only video call other iPhone 4 users. That was until now. VoIP specialists Fring has launched its own unrestricted two-way video calling service that enables iPhone 4 users to call other Android and Nokia (Symbian 60) devices both from Wi-Fi hotspots and on 3G. The service will also work on iPhone 3GS' models that have been updated to the iPhone 4 operating system.
Other features to Fring's iPhone 4 version include; the ability for it to run in the background, even while other features and apps are in operation, a new social stream, that runs a chronological stream of tweets, Facebook updates, texts and calls, and the Smarter Address Book, that merges all your contacts into one manageable list.
Fring for the iPhone 4 is available to download now, from the Apple App Store.
