Another day, another Android launch. Although to be fair to Orange, the Samsung Galaxy Apollo i5801 hasn't yet officially launched,According to Crave, details have leaked out over both the Orange and Samsung websites, creating an almost complete picture of the incoming handset. Those surfaced details claim that the i5801 is, of course, an Android handset, with all the usual Google-frinedly functions and access to the Android marketplace for apps aplenty. No news on which version though, but we would guess 2.1.
In terms of hardware, the i5801 is packing a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus and 4x digital zoom, media player, FM radio, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and a microSD slot for bumping up the storage.
What we don't know as yet is the exact price. But we do know that Orange is offering the phone in black on either a pay as you go deal, or free if you sign up to a moderate contract. If you fancy one, sit tight, it's likely to be here soon enough. Or check out the altogether more impressive Samsung Galaxy S.
