All aboard the affordable social networking wagon. LG has launched its latest phone series, Town, which is all about social networks.
The GT350 is a QWERTY phone with a three-inch WQVGA touch-screen and live updating feeds from Facebook, Twitter and Bebo. The keyboard is trademark LG cute, with round buttons spaced nicely across four rows for what looks like maximum comfort. You'll also be able to customise shortcut keys to each of your social networks.
It's not a smartphone, but is instead powered by LG's S-Class Touch UI.
There's also a two-meg snapper which can upload pix to social networks, or send them to friends via MMS or email. No 3G, but Wi-Fi means you can at least have speedy internet when in a hotspot - say at home or work.
The LG Town GT350 is available in aqua blue, purple, light silver and black, from 1 July. Pricing will be announced nearer the launch.
