3 undercuts on iPad data plans

All the iPad data deals from the main networks are on the table, with the exception of the 3 network. Well, that has just landed, undercutting the competition when it comes to heavy data use.

£7.50 per month for a single GB of data might not get your pulse racing (same price as Orange, but with a longer time span to use it, but still cheaper than O2 and Vodafone for same amount). However, it's high-use tariff is certainly worth checking out.

The 3 network is offering 10GB of use for £15. Yes, you read that correctly. To put it into context, 10GB would cost you £25 with Orange, while O2 gives you just 3GB for £15 and Vodafone does just 5GB for £25.

Ok, some of the above deals throw in some Wi-Fi access on the go, but even allowing for that, the 3 deal looks way ahead of the pack. 3 is also talking up its network too, claiming it is very much up to the job. Speaking about the deals, Marc Allera, sales and marketing director at 3 said: '3 is pleased to offer competitive data plans for iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G in the UK...our network, the largest in the country, has been optimised for the mobile Internet, ensuring our customers enjoy the very best mobile performance on iPad.'

Go see your local 3 dealer if all that draws you in.
