We first heard about the Samsung S3370 in mid-March and were pleasantly surprised that the company was proposing to release a new budget-based phone that was not part of the Corby range of handsets. Now, Samsung has given the new design more publicity by showcasing the design in Holland.
Measuring 99.9 x 53 x 12.9 mm and weighing in at 86 grams, confirmed features include a 2.6in TFT display that will pack in 240 x 320 pixels, 3G for fast data transfers, Bluetooth 2.1 for the wireless connection of accessories such as a headset, a music player and stereo FM radio for music fans plus a camera. The latter will only offer a basic specification of 1.3-megapixels.
It appears that the phone will be released during the third quarter of this year and will retail for around €100, according to the GSM Arena website.
