So the rumours were true, Samsung does have plans to release a series of mobile phones, based upon its own bada operating system, that will also feature a full size QWERTY keyboard.
Not long after its recent announcement of the bada-based Wave S8500 handset, Samsung has announced, during a recent press conference in Russia, that it is working on a series of new bada phones for release during the year. All will include touchscreens but at least two of those will also include a full QWERTY keyboard based upon a sliding configuration.
According to the Samsung Hub, there is no specific information on any of the new models yet, no names, no features or release dates. However, according to Samsung, the phones will all retail for an equivalent price between £220 and £450. We will pass on more details when we receive them.
