After the announcements of the new Samsung Modus HM3500 and the Aliph Jawbone Icon headsets, get ready for a 'hard case' from BlueAnt. To be known as the T1, the design incorporates some interesting features. For example, the headset is apparently the first design to feature Wind Armour Technology which allows you to successfully use the headset in a 22 mile per hour wind. This is reportedly the best wind noise reduction performance currently on the market.
Another new feature is Caller Name Announce which means that, when you receive an incoming call, the headset will tell you who is calling.
Additional features for the T1 will include a tough chassis and soft touch silicon covers, multipoint that will allow you to connect two phones via Bluetooth along with other mobile technologies and A2DP streaming. The unit will allow up to 6 hours of talk time and 120 hours of standby time.
Expect a May release date and an equivalent price of around £55.
