Research in Motion, creator of the Blackberry line of mobile phones, has been busily developing a new Pearl handset that will be positioned as the successor to the Pearl 8100, 8110 and the 8120 models. The Blackberry Pearl 9100 takes design cues from the older models but updates them to give a fresh look to the design. Now, we can take a closer look ourselves because new, hands-on images have been revealed to us via the Berry Review website.
The new 9100 includes a full QWERTY Suretype keyboard with an optical trackpad and 3G for fast data transfer. Wi-Fi is also included for the wireless connection to the Internet. A built in camera will feature an accompanying LED flash while the chassis will also feature dedicated music-related keys on the top of the body.
After the phone has been released into the US market, Europe will then see the new 9100 Pearl.
