Samsung has been chatting, at the CTIA Wireless 2010 show in the Las Vegas Convention Center, USA, about a brand new mobile phone that it is due to release.
Based on the Galaxy brand of phones, the new handset is to be known as the Samsung Galaxy S (the meaning of the ‘S’ is yet to be revealed). According to the Samsung Mobile President, JK Shin, it will be based upon the Android operating system and will also feature the very high contrast Super AMOLED screen, surely the best quality screen you can currently get on a mobile phone.
The handset will be powered by a 1GHz CPU and, what Samsung terms as, a “new content ecosystem” along with a “social hub”, according to the Engadget website.
And that is basically it as far as concrete details are concerned but, as soon as we find more information we’ll pass it on.
