The Apple iPad, now just one of many tablet computers we can expect to see from a a variety of manufacturers, is due to initially start shipping into the USA on the 3rd April and a reported 120,000 people have already pre-ordered the new machine – and that was only on the first day of the official pre-order.
Interestingly two out of three orders plumped for the Wi-Fi facility only with all of the memory options: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB being equally popular, according to the GSM Arena Blog site.
In the meantime, if you happen to have around £13,000 clinking around in your pocket, then you may be able to buy yourself a new iPad covered in diamonds.
And not any old diamonds, either. These are, and we quote, “11.43 carats of diamonds” that are “graded G/H in colour and VS2/SI1 in clarity.” So, er, that’s good yes? Well, they’re diamonds, so that’s a start. If you would like to buy one of these instant security risks, then you can pre-order it here.
