Well I’ll be..Samsung is working on a new mobile phone that will be targeted at budget users (as opposed to the recent Wave hi-end model) but, amazingly enough, it will not be positioned as part of the Corby mafia, er, family.
The new phone has a number only, the S3370 and includes a range of decent features for a low cost mobile such as 3G for fast data transfer, a TouchWiz user interface which is already popular and easy to use, a Bluetooth facility to connect to other wireless accessories and a camera, built in, although it is currently unspecified. In addition to that lot, the new phone will also include a touchscreen of a QVGA resolution, spanning 2.8in.
The current release date of the new S3370 is currently unknown, according to the Slashgear website, but a likely price, say observers, will be close to €100. As such, expect a European release first.
