It seems that, every five minutes or so, a new Opera browser version has just entered a beta stage. Hence, it makes a pleasant change to hear that Opera has officially announced the final release versions of some of these ongoing developments. Both the Opera Mini 5 browser for both Java and Blackberry mobile phones plus the Opera Mobile 10 browser for both Symbian and Windows Mobile operating systems have also reached a final release stage.
“Keeping in mind the needs and wants of our 50+ million users, we have emphasized speed, desktop-like functionality and data savings in our mobile browsers. Today, we have made it even easier for everyone to surf, search and socialize on the Web,” said Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software.
Or, more specifically, the new browsers include a fast browsing system based on a high level of compression that squeezes 90% of the data into a small space before its loaded plus tabbed browsing and Opera Link for syncing bookmarks.
