With the original having sold in excess of 13 million units, it's no wonder LG has added to its popular Cookie range. The LG Cookie Plus (LG GS500) and LG Cookie Fresh (LG GS290) builds on from where the KP500 left off, with an integrated social network service and LG's LiveSquare feature. This animated user interface features moving avatars that represent your most contacted contacts making it even easier to stay on track of recent conversations.
It seems as if the LG Cookie Plus is catered more towards features, while the Cookie Fresh is more about looks. The Cookie Plus has the faster 3G data speeds as well as a more equipped three-megapixel camera. The LG Cookie Fresh relies on the slightly slower EDGE data speeds and a two-megapixel camera. However, the Fresh does don a comfy soft outer grip and is available in a variety of 16 different colours. Both handsets can download applications such as Amazon Search, Fox News and eBay Search from the LG Widget Gallery.
Both the LG Cookie Plus and LG Cookie Fresh will be available later this month, though pricing is yet to be confirmed.
