Typically, the better looking a mobile phone, the more it will cost. The effort placed in the design of a new handset is often seen as a totem for the luxury and technical facilities within: witness LG's own upcoming MAXX and Apollo phones. For LG, therefore, to present to the world such a stylish and eye-catching handset for the equivalent of around £120 will appeal to many prospective users.
Only available in Russian for now – although it is thought that the phone will migrate to other European territories later – the LG GD350 is formed in black with gold additions and includes a 2-megapixel camera, microSD and microUSB ports, a FM radio, Bluetooth with A2DP and external music keys that allows tracks to be sorted by artist, music genre, album or playlist, according to the GSM Dome website.
A series of red LEDs form an external display that give you an indication that a call or text has arrived and the current date/time. We will supply more details when we get them.
