HTC is keeping up the pressure on its competition by creating yet another mobile phone, in addition to the recently observed Legend, that will run on the Android operating system: this time version 2.1.
The latest HTC design is known as the Incredible and is seen here, in the accompanying photos, situated next to the original T-Mobile G1 phone. Notice the relatively subtle red accents on the flanks of the new Incredible.
The revealed feature count of the new design is limited at the moment. However, we do know that the handset will include a WVGA touchcreen with an optical mouse input and the Sense user interface. The phone will include a built in camera of unknown specification but it will also feature a dual LED flash, according to the Phandroid website.
The new phone is expected to be released later this month but reports say that it may suffer from delays making May a more likely date. A UK release is possible but, before the phone is released into the UK, it may undergo a name change.
