Samsung Diva-like mobile piles on the features

We recently saw the announcement of the Samsung Diva (accompanying the news of a rather sparkly Corby phone), which targets its designs at the ladies in the audience. So does this new phone, a Diva-like handset known as the Samsung Clutch (after the handbag?).

The Samsung Clutch W9500 ups the ante rather by adding and enhancing the typical Diva features. The Clutch includes a 3.2in screen plus 3G for fast data transfers, GPS for location finding, T-DMB, a 3-megapixel camera with an additional 3D motion picture plus another camera rated at 1.3-megapixels for video calls. The phone can handle up to 16GB of internal memory and comes with a microSD slot to that effect, according to the Samsung Hub website.

The new Clutch arrives with a modified user interface called the Lady UI but it’s really the familiar TouchWiz 2.0 UI with extra apps such as a party planner,

meeting scheduler and a calories calculator...for those ladies wondering if dessert is just a little too much.

More release news when we get it.
