We initially heard about the possible launch of the LG Arena Max LU9400 way back in November of last year. At that time, little was known about the design.
Well, now the company has officially unveiled the new design in Korea and has given it the official moniker of the LG MAXX LU9400. The MAXX does, indeed, feature the 1GHz version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but it also includes Wi-Fi for the wireless connection to the Internet, a large, 3.5in touchscreen packing in 480 x 800 pixels for a WVGA resolution, DivX support to play compatible video files, GPS for location finding Bluetooth for the wireless connection of accessories such as a headset and a 5-megpixel camera. You also get a 1500mAh battery, according to the Aving website.
The phone has been launched into Korea today but expect later announcements for a European-wide launch to follow. An equivalent price of around £500 has been quoted.
