The new OS iteration, version 1.4, features a number of important additions and changes, according to the Engadget website.

One of the most noticeable changes is the inclusion of the latest version of the Flash utility to version 10.1. In addition, webOS 1.4 provides WebKit4 complete with an update Javascript engine to V8 standards. The HTML5 Media SPI specification support has also been enhanced and improved while the camera SPI has been updated so that the Pre’s camera can access new video recording support.
