Reports have reached us that the Google Nexus One mobile phone will finally enter the UK market in April and will do so via Vodafone.
According to The Telegraph website, both Google and Vodafone had hoped to release the Nexus One in the UK during March, but delays have resulted in an April launch instead.
As previously seen in the US market, any proposed UK customer will more than likely not be able to acquire the phone directly from Vodafone. The Nexus One will be available, instead, directly from Google’s online store, you will then receive a tariff from Vodafone.
No tariff details have been released as yet but it is believed that the Nexus One itself will be available for a similar price to the current range of Apple iPhones.
It is thought that UK customers will benefit from the recent US-sourced update which introduced the multi-touch user interface to the phone.
