Nokia has already announced the forthcoming release of its MeeGo open source platform for the future but it's the soon to be released Symbian^3 OS that will be the focus of several mobile phone releases. The most interesting current Symbian^3 release surrounds the leaked news of the Nokia X10. This new design will appeal to all texters out there as it will feature a full, slide-out, QWERTY keyboard. It will also offer multiple home screens via its autorotation abilities.
Based on a 600MHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, the new phone will include a 3.2" AMOLED touch-screen with capacitive abilities, according to the Engadget website. Other features will include HSDPA for fast data transfer, Wi-Fi for the wireless connection to the internet, A-GPS for location finding and a built-in camera of five-megapixels along with a LED flash. Expect a 32GB internal memory capacity with 16GB offered as standard.
