T-Mobile has now joined Vodafone in offering its customers the rather excellent BlackBerry Storm2. Since its launch in November Voda has enjoyed exclusivity on RIM's next-gen touch-screen phone. However, from today the phone is available for free on selected T-Mobile contracts, starting from £35 a month. T-Mobile's version will have a discreet operator branding at the bottom of the handset.
After the original BlackBerry Storm was criticised for some software issues, the Storm2 has fared far better. It still sports a large 3.25-inch capacitive touch-screen, 3.15-megapixel camera and HSDPA data speeds. However, it also has the added bonus of including Wi-Fi, while your navigational needs are catered for thank to the onboard A-GPS, and both BlackBerry and Google Maps.
