Toshiba has used Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona to unveil two new uber-slim handsets. The TG02 is the follow up to the promised much but failed to deliver TG01 and maintains the same petite waistline. With a width of just 9.9mm, the TG02 sports an impressive 4.1-inches VGA capacitive touch-screen, which means you'll be able to enjoy those same featherlike swipes a la iPhone. Running on the Windows Mobile 6.5 platform, the Toshiba TG02 sports a powerful 1GHz processor that promises a lighting fast experience be it loading websites or opening applications, done via a 3D menu system.
The Toshiba K01 is geared towards the heavy messenger, with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard enabling users to fire or texts and emails with ease. The K01 is also a Toshiba first in that it houses the manufacturer's first-ever Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) capacitive screen, again measuring 4.1-inches. The advantage of such a screen includes a better colour and contrast while saving power and thus meaning you won't have to find that charger quite so much. The Toshiba K01 is also fitted with a 1GHz processor and can support microSDHC cards of up to 32GB.
