When Samsung decided to release the Monte S5620 mobile phone, little did we know that this phone would be the first in, what looks like becoming, a whole family of phones bearing that moniker. Seemingly treading in the footsteps of the Corby handset, the Monte brand has now spawned a second handset which, according to the Samsung Hub website, will be known as the Samsung Monte Slider E2550. Spotted via Samsung's MWC Flickr account, the company is also talking about a third Monte handset, the Samsung Monte Bar C3200. Expect to see both mobiles officially announced at the MWC 2010 show.
Neither phone features a touchscreen interface. In fact, both designs are comparatively basic. We can expect to see specifications, released details and prices during the show itself. Will this series of phoes become as popular and as numerous as the company's own Corby line of designs? We will see.
