There have been frantic rumours and guesstimates on exactly what phone will first feature Samsung's own operating system, bada. Well, now the story can be told - it will be the Samsung Wave S8500, a design that is due to make its official appearance at the MWC 2010 show in Barcelona, Spain which is due to open its doors right...about...now.
Measuring just 10.9mm thick, the aluminium chassis of the Wave features tempered glass on the 3.3in, AMOLED touchscreen, to provide an anti-scratch coating. Upon which you will also see the very latest version of TouchWiz, version 3.0.
Other features will include HSDPA for fast data transfers, Wi-Fi, a DivX player for videos and a good specification camera of 5-megapixels plus a flash and a facility for HD recording to 720p, according to the Daily Mobile website.
Expect the CPU to be a fast 1GHz Snapdragon. The internal 2GB of memory can be boosted via a microSD card.
