It's certainly been a busy time for LG. We'd only just finished our review of the GW620 mobile phone when LG officially announced the forthcoming release of the svelte Mini GD880 smartphone. Now the company has announced two new handsets to join its incredibly popular affordable Cookie range.
The GT350 is QWERTY slider with a full three-inch touch-screen at WVGA resolution, and a four-line keyboard. The phone integrates several social networking sites including Facebook and Twitter, with status updates from multiple account pushed to a single screen where you can also check out friends profiles and post updates.
The keyboard also features a dedicated social network shortcut key, as well as buttons to access push email, the web browser and instant messaging.
The LG GT350 will be available in the UK from June in aqua, purple, light silver, and black, some of which will be exclusive to specific carriers.
LG also announced the GS290, an even more wallet-friendly touch-screen phone, again with beefed up social networking features. It will be available in the UK from mid-March, price and more specs TBA.
