And you thought that the spring was too early to start picking berries. Well, not for RIM, because there are two BlackBerry mobile phones slated for European release this spring.
The first device apparently resembles the BlackBerry Bold but, according to reports from The Street website, this new phone will not only arrive with a QWERTY keyboard but also a touch-screen. Observers believe this design may be the rumoured Magnum/Dakota. A new operating system has been created to handle the touch-screen elements but there are no details on the software itself.
The second phone will, apparently, fit into the Pearl family but will incorporate a fast, 3G data transfer facility and an optical trackpad. Observers believe this device may be the Pearl 9100.
We will pass on more details when we have them.
