It appears that Samsung is never happy unless it's releasing new handset designs and, if it can't do that, then it makes do with updating old ones. That's exactly what's happening here with the S5600 which is about to be updated to the S5620. To be known as the Monte, the updated phone will feature a 3in touchscreen display and will integrate Samsung's own TouchWiz user interface. However, some observers have declared that it might also include the new bada operating system, according to the Daily Mobile website.
Other included features will be HSDPA for fast data transfer, Wi-Fi for the wireless connection to the Internet, GPS for location finding plus a 3.5mm headphone socket for music fans and a microSD slot to allow you to upgrade the measily 200MB of internal memory. You also get an unspecificed camera without a flash.
We still await news of release dates, price and distribution.
