The Zune phone has sometimes been thought as a mirage or some spirit figure - we've heard about it but no-one really believes it exists. However, Microsoft has revealed more details that put more meat on the Zune bones. Firstly, a Zune software update has been published known as v184.108.40.206 along with a Zune.inf file that contains references to a Zune phone with three hardware IDs that implies that there may be three Zune phones in total along with Windows Mobile 7 as the attendant OS.
Speaking of Windows Mobile 7, the Engadget website has declared that the Windows Mobile 7 OS is usable, will be released "soon" and requires a minimum specification of a 1GHz CPU, 3.6in WVGA screen, a G-sensor and compass, 8GB of internal memory and a 5-megapixel camera.
Many observers now believe that Windows Mobile 7 will be revealed at MWC 2010, which will run from 15th-18th February.
