Motorola is beginning to pick up the pace with its release of the Milestone handset in the UK and the promise of more to come such as the Shadow. Now, the company has seen a new mobile phone, to be known as the Motorola MOTOROI, announced in Korea but aimed at a release into all of the major world markets: that was confirmed by Rick Wolochatiuk, president of Motorola Korea, according to the Korea Herald.
The new phone will feature a large, 3.7in, touchscreen packing in a WVGA resolution along with fast data transfer via HSDPA and a HD facility via a HDMI socket.The handset will also include GPS for location finding, Wi-Fi for wireless Internet connections and 8GB of internal memory. A camera will be included of an excellent 8-megapixel specification along with HD recording.
The MOTOROI has been priced at around £500 but promised heavy discounting is likely to lower that figure upon release. No release date was revealed.
