We were wandering down the High St. a day or two ago and sauntered past a betting shop. In the window, amongst the odds for the favourite at Taunton and who would be the first to score in the next Chelsea match was a 10-1 bet that the Samsung Corby would take over the world by Christmas. We chuckled at that until we heard news of yet another Corby phone release! Will the torment never end?
This time the phone is known as a Samsung Corby Beat M3710. It will include a new feature called Game Store that will incorporate Java-only programs. Reportedly, Game Store will be pre-installed on all future bada-based mobile phones in the future, according to the Engadget website.
The Beat, which resembles the Lindy, will include a 2.8in screen of QVGA resolution, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone socket, 3-megapixel camera and social networking integration.
Expect a February release in Europe for around €220.
