Samsung announces two new memory cards

Samsung produces a wide array of lifestyle oriented devices including, of course, mobile phones. However, sparkly, shiny boxes are just one aspect of the company. It also produces a large amount of electronic technologies used within. Two new related announcements will be of interest to mobile users. The company has announced the forthcoming release of a 32GB microSD memory card which is very thin at only 1mm and will be available to buy later this year, according to the Business Wire website. Apart from the fact that the card allows phones to store more media such as music and videos, the reduced thickness will enable phone designers to further reduce the chassis size.

The second product is known as a mobiNAND chip and reaches a capacity of 64GB. This chip has been in production since December of last year and is targeted at the next generation of smartphones such as Apple's 4th generation iPhone.
