The iPhone orgy has arrived. Vodafone is now offering the iPhone, and if anyone thought that price war was imminent, think again.
Voda iPhone tariffs are pretty much the same the ones on O2 and Orange, (though Tesco Mobile probably offers better value if you don't mind a two-year contract). What Vodafone is claiming though, is the best network coverage, offering an online network checker, as well as the option to boost signal with the Vodafone Access Gateway.
You can get the Voda iPhone on 18-month and 24 month plans, ranging from £30 a month to £75. All plans include unlimited Wi-Fi and 1GB of mobile internet and email - which though not 'unlimited', is all you'll need and still beats Orange's fair use of 750MB.
You'll also get unlimited texts on all but the £30/month, 18-month plan. There's no PAYG option. For full details, check out Vodafone's iPhone page.
Hanging out for that rumoured next-gen iPhone 4G? As it hasn't actually been confirmed yet, there's no word on whether a free upgrade will be available, or when, but it should be available on the operators carrying the current iPhone.
