It’s our favourite Windows Mobile phone to date, receiving the much sought after five star approval in our recent review, and now Virgin Media customers can get their mitts on the HTC HD2 when they sign up to a 24-month contract. Previously associated with lower-end mobiles, the acquiring of the HTC HD2 marks a move towards the higher tier of the phone arena and will be a welcome addition to customers of the MVNO. Virgin Media has stated that this will be the first of many more equipped phones to be rolled out this year.
The HTC HD2 which is available for free on a £30 24-month contract will also include 800 free voice minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited mobile internet (with a 3GB fair usage policy each month). Current Virgin Media customers who already take advantage of Virgin’s broadband and TV services will also receive the first two months for free, in addition to unlimited calls to other Virgin Mobiles.
