Sony Ericsson's new mobile phone design that resembles a miniature version of the (now delayed) Xperia X10 smartphone, the Robyn, has appeared within a new set of images, posed next to an Apple iPhone, giving us more of an idea of just how small the chassis is.
The handset, says observers, will be run on the Android operating system and should feature a QVGA resolution as the screen will be too small to adopt a higher specification.
Other features that have been spotted include a 5-megapixel camera plus Wi-Fi for wireless connections to the Internet plus a 3.5mm headphone port for music fans, according to the Phandroid website.
One of the leaked images of the Robyn shows that the chassis will be available in a multitude of colours including black, white, pink and yellow. Does this mean that Sony Ericsson is taking a leaf out of the colourful Samsung Corby design? Like the Corby, will the Robyn inspire further model tweaks and variations?
There is no information on releases dates, price or distribution as yet.
