Samsung to announce new bada and Android phones

Google's Nexus One already has the competition snapping at its heels. Samsung is acting particularly sassy in its release schedule, as information has been leaked about a new Android phone offering a similar specification to the Nexus One and, in addition, throwing in a bada hand grenade, the company's first bada-based phone, to boot.

Both handsets should feature specifications circling 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touch-screens, 1GHz Snapdragon CPUs, HSDPA fast data transfers, Wi-Fi, GPS and a five-megapixel camera with autofocus, according to the Unwired website.

The only real difference should be their attendants operating systems. The Samsung S8200 (€400) will feature bada and the Samsung Galaxy 2 (€450) will run on Android.
