Rumours are seeping out about a brand new mobile phone from Sony Ericsson that, on one hand, could be the best thing since sliced bread while oozing more features than a Doctor Who monster oozes puss or, rather infuriatingly, may very well be ideal of those of us with less than two pennies to rub together and who finds the park bench an appealing residential option in these trying times.
The phone, known as the U5i, runs within the same naming system as the Satio, which is associated with the label of U1 and the Aino, which holds U10. So does this mean that the new U5i includes a full touchscreen and a 8-megapixel camera? Then again, the Cellpassion website has declared that the U5i includes a 640 x 360 pixel display and only a 2-megapixel camera. Then again (again) the U5 Kurara includes a 8-megapixel camera. So what does that mean then? A headache, probably. Oh, and the Engadget website says that the new design will run on Symbian. So, it's not quite an Android world yet, is it?
