HTC is as active as ever in its quest to produce new mobile phones and attendant user interfaces to run alongside them. Maybe the new mobile phone that the company has just revealed took a few more sleepless nights to get right than HTC would care to admit. Then again, maybe the clue is in the name: Espresso.
To be revealed at the upcoming MWC 2010 show in Barcelona, Spain, the new phone will reportedly run on Android 2.1. Other reports say that the new phone will also feature a full QWERTY keyboard, according to the Engadget website
An updated Sense user interface has been developed to run on top of the Android UI and it certainly has an Apple-like sheen to it. Observers say that the new UI will be launched on all of HTC's forthcoming Android phones for 2010, including the new Bravo handset. Information about new interface features is relatively scarce apart from the People feature we've noticed at the bottom of the screen which can be accessed directly.
