Samsung has officially announced the forthcoming release of its new mobile phone, the M5650 Lindy, seen, by some, as the successor to the popular Corby handset. The Lindy appears to be just as groovy and colourful as the Corby design.
The primary focus for the Lindy design is music as the chassis features dedicated music keys situated on the front. All of these keys will be touch sensitive and coupled with these dedicated keys is a 3.5mm headphone socket.
Other features that accompany the music details are a 2.8in display based upon a QVGA resolution, fast data transfer via HSDPA connectivity and Wi-Fi for Internet access. More entertainment is provided by a FM radio while a decently rated 3-megapixel camera is included too. The built in 50MB of memory can be increased via microSD card port, according to the Mobile Gazette.
The phone will be available in Europe for €159. A specific release date has yet to be released.
