Sony Ericsson is to release a new mobile phone that will occupy a place in the eco-friendly batch of phones within the GreenHeart range.
To be known as the J10 (no other brand name has been mooted so far), the new design was apparently known as 'Susan' during its development, which explains a lot. Susan, you may recall, was being rumoured when the Xperia X10 was nearing release. Many observers got terribly excited and believed it to be a future member of the Xperia range, or even a rugged phone. In fact, the J10 is a dumb eco-phone that, nevertheless, features some respectable specifications such as a five-megapixel camera along with a built-in flash and Wi-Fi.
Although details are sparse, you can probably expect the new design to be constructed from 'green' materials and/or an eco-friendly charger.
There is no news of a price or release date just yet.
