Although Samsung has yet to announce the new design, the company is preparing to launch a mobile phone that takes its design clues from the popular and colourful Samsung Corby mobile phone.
To be known as the Samsung M5650 Lindy, the new phone resembles the improved version of the Corby with go-faster stripes. According to the GSM Arena website, the new phone will include a fast transfer capability of HSDPA running at 7.2Mbps along with Wi-Fi - which is being retrofitted into the Corby - and a better camera rated at 3-megapixels unlike the 2-megapixels of the Corby. The Lindy will also receive dedicated music keys.
Other features will include a 2.8in screen of QVGA resolution, Bluetooth, stereo FM radio with RDS and a microSD slot.
The new Lindy is reportedly available now in both Spain and Portugal for €159. However, there are no details of distribution into other European territories or an altered price.
